Walters' 14 leads Demons past Grant Co.
December 7, 2014
Elijah Walters scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Williamstown Middle School sixth-grade Demons to an impressive 36-25 win over host Grant Co. in action this weekend. Walters scored points in all four quarters of the game, the only player on either team to do so.
Alger's 22 paces 8th-grade Demons
November 21, 2014
Jonas Alger and Matthew Rothwell combined for 35 points to lead the Williamstown Middle School 8th Grade Demons to a dominating 50-36 win over Carroll Co. in recent action. Alger, who was held to just four points in the first half, exploded for 18 in the second half, on his way to a 22-point performance.

WMS Lady Demons split pair with Walton

The Williamstown Middle School Lady Demons split a pair with visiting Walton-Verona on Thursday, with the 7th-grade Lady Demons falling 34-18 in the opener before the 8th-grade Lady Demons closed out the night with an impressive 44-30 victory over the Lady Bearcats.
Third-quarter struggles sink WMS Demons

The third quarter was very cruel to the WMS Demons in a pair of losses in the All A Tournament. The 7th-grade Demons were held scoreless in the third quarter of a 36-25 loss to Walton, while the 8th-grade Demons managed only two points in the third period of a 44-30 defeat to Henry Co.
WMS Demons sweep Owen in rematch

After losing a heart-breaker to Owen Co. on opening night, the Williamstown 8th-grade Demons left nothing to chance in the rematch, running away from the Rebels in a 58-40 victory. And just as they did two weeks ago, the 7th-grade Demons had no problem with Owen Co. in a 55-23 win.
WMS Lady Demons split with Carroll Co.

Playing in front of the home crowd for the first time this season, the Williamstown Lady Demons split a pair of hard-fought battles with visiting Carroll Co. WMS came up short, 32-24, in the 7th-grade game, while the Lady Demons got even with an impressive 29-15 rout in 8th-grade action.
Turnovers, free throws doom WMS

Turnovers and missed free throws spelled doom for the Williamstown Middle School Demons in a pair of losses against visiting Gallatin Co. Both the 7th and 8th Grade Demons struggled with turnovers and both hit less than 50 percent of their free throws in defeats.
