Cold-shooting dooms Demons in

season-opening loss to Eminence

The Williamstown Demons couldn't buy a basket in their season-opening loss at Eminence.

 

Williamstown was good on only 19-of-63 shot attempts from the field, including 7-for-39 from 3-point range. It didn't get much better from the charity stripe with the Demons hitting just 17-of-30 from the free throw line.

 

Brennan Stanley led Williamstown in scoring with 30 points, including three 3-pointers. Fellow guard Jon Jump was next with 21 points, which included a pair of 3-pointers.

 

Carter Sarcione was next with seven points, followed by Jose Espicio with six on two 3-pointers. Cameron Varner and Harold Fernandez chipped in two points each to round out the Williamstown scoring.
