Olivia Souder is very popular on the Williamstown High School campus today and for good reason.

The sophomore post player grabbed a rebound in the closing seconds and put the ball back in for the game-winning points in a 39-37 win over Gallatin Co. in junior varsity action Tuesday night.

The game-winning basket accounted for Souder's only two points of the night.

Sophomore Lynzie Cheek led the Williamstown offensive attack with 12 points, followed by eighth-grader Kiki Johnson with 10.

Freshman Megan Perkins was next for the winners with six points, followed by sophomores Sydney Taylor with five and Emily Ison with four. Souder rounded out the Lady Demons' scoring with two.

Williamstown played from behind most of the game, trailing by three after one quarter (13-10) and six at the half (23-17). But the Lady Demons never gave up and had cut the lead to three (30-27) heading into the final period.
