The Williamstown Lady Demons' got 10 points from 7th grader Kiki Johnson and seven other players contributed points in a win over Lloyd Memorial in girls' junior varsity action this week.

 

Johnson scored 10 points while teammate Haley Howe had one of her better games of the season with eight points. Olivia Harden was next for the winners with six points, followed by Justice Chambers, Nichole Hawkinson and Olivia Souder with five each.

 

LLOYD MEMORIAL (30) - Brinkley 13, Crawford 2, Westwood 3, McCurdy 1, Smith 1, Webster 3, Musk 7.

WILLIAMSTOWN (43) - Kiki Johnson 10, Haley Howe 8, Olivia Harden 6, Justice Chambers 5, Nicole Hawkinson 5, Olivia Souder 5, Megan Perkins 2, Shelby Gutman 2.

 

Grant Co. 45, Williamstown 30

Grant County jumped on top early and never trailed.

Tyrsten Cummins led the winners with 10 points, followed by Madisyn Rushbusch with 10.

 

Rachel Montgomery paced Williamstown with eight points, followed by Haley Howe with six.

WILLIAMSTOWN (30) - Rachel Montgomery 8, Haley Howe 6, Michaela Kennedy 4, Shelby Gutman 4, Nicole Hawkinson 3, Kiki Johnson 2, Justice Chambers 2, Olivia Souder 1.

 

Harrison Co. 36, Williamstown 29

Harrison Co. took advantage of playing on its home floor and hit all the shots and made all the plays when it counted to hold off Williamstown.

 

Kiki Johnson led the Lady Demons with eight points, followed by Olivia Harden with five.

Talented Lady Demons optimistic heading into 2015/16 season

Kiki Johnson has been a force for the Lady Demons in recent action. Her  10 points were a team-high in Williamstown's win over Lloyd Memorial.
