Williamstown junior Hannah Scroggins finished among the top five at the girls' Region 6 golf tournament to qualify for the state championships that begin next week.

 

Scroggins shot a 79 at regionals, the third highest individual score of the event, behind only Sarah Boden (Grant Co.) and Amy Pugliano (Notre Dame Academy) who tied atop the leaderboard at 76, and Megan Mauer (Dixie Heights) and Macy Wright (Grant Co.) who tied at 77.

 

Scroggins was one of four individuals who qualified for state from the 6th Region.
