Scouting Report from Coach Roger Harden:

On the hardwood:  "As a basketball player, you always know what you're going to get from Chris Parsons. He is a player who is going to go out and give you 100 percent every time. He's going to battle hard. He's a great team player. He does not mind setting screens. He is full of hustle. Nobody in our program has improved more over the last year than Chris. We are thrilled with his progress. Chris is very strong down low and finishes well. He has shown many times that he can step out and hit the 3. This is his first time playing varsity, so he is young in that sense. But I think as the season goes along we'll start to see Chris feel more comfortable in what he is doing and it started to show in the second half against Grant Co. He was aggressive offensively and started taking chances. He was one of the positives that came out of that game."

Off the hardwood: "I don't know if there is a more universally liked player or student than Chris. He gets along with everybody and speaks to everybody. He is always thankful and appreciative for what you do for him. He carries himself well and is never a disciplin problem. He's a great teammate and gets along well with everyone. He is always encouraging his teammates. He's just a great player to coach and a great person to be around."
