Scouting Report from Coach Roger Harden:

On the hardwood:

Carter is multi-talented. He can play inside or out. He's a very good rebounder. When he makes a commitment and it's important to him to be good at basketball, he is a nice game-changer for us. Although he's only about six feet tall, when he's in the lane he has great instincts on how to use his body. He has a lot of power. His jump shot is very good. There are times that he is the best 3-point shooter in the gym. He's one of those young men that you have to challenge him ever day. But one thing I know about Carter is, if he wants to accomplish something and it's important to him, he's going to get the job done.

Off the hardwood: Carter is a rural legend. He is his own man. He is very funny and has a great sense of humor. He likes to have fun. On the bus or in the hotels, no matter where we are, when there is a lot of laughing and cutting up going on, I know Carter Sarcione is going to be in the middle of it. I've really enjoyed coaching Carter. He has grown not only as a person, but also as a basketball player. He's come a long way and I'm very proud of the progress he's made.
