Scouting Report from Coach Roger Harden:

On the hardwood: Cameron is very athletic. He is the only player on the team who can probably play all five positions. He can play point. And when we want to go quick he will play the five.  He has become a very good shooter and a very good defender. When he shows up to play he is a real factor for us. He is coming off surgery from last year. We lost him for the last few games which really hurt us. He has a good work ethic. He is always conscious of what we are trying to accomplish. He is showing some good leadership which is really important when you have a young team because he knows and understands the grind and what we are about to face. He's been an invaluable asset for us.

Off the hardwood: Cameron is a very happy-go-lucky person. He is a great student. He is a lot of fun to coach. He is always in a good mood. He has wonderful parents and comes from a great family. In the three years I've been here I've not had one single complaint about Cameron Varner from a teacher or parent or anyone. He has a wonderful future in whatever he does after high school. Whatever he does, he will be successful. He is a very likable young man. Very respectful.
